Part-time Inventory Specialist/Bookseller
Bards Alley is seeking energetic, organized, and detail-oriented applicants to fill a new part-time position, focused on inventory management, for approximately 15 - 20 hours per week. This position will work closely with our Store Buyer on a range of tasks associated with:
Previous experience in bookselling, retail, and/or customer service is required. The position will also include hours as a bookseller both in-store and at off-site events. The candidate must demonstrate familiarity with all genres of literature and an enthusiasm for working in the industry. Key attributes of an ideal candidate include:
The position also has several physical demands, including: standing for extended periods of time, occasionally lifting boxes up to 50 pounds, and utilizing a ladder or foot stool.
